Dine with us

Food is very important on Arran – all of our local produce has a story to tell, and we are known as Scotland’s Foodie Isle. We want you to taste a little bit of our island, take it with you and remember us as you savour both the flavour and the memory of your Arran-time!

Eating out is an important part of any holiday experience. Dining out on Arran is a special treat, with innovative menus reflecting delicious island produce, and friendly service from staff who might encourage you to try their own recommendations, or old favourites. There is a variety of eateries to choose from, and all offer something a little different.

Whether you go for a high end hotel restaurant with views overlooking sea or glen, or enjoy a pub meal surrounding by local characters, there’s something to suit every palate, literally – and all can cater for dietary requirements.

Pub life on Arran is inextricably linked to food, and it’s also a great way to really meet and great local islanders; perhaps take part in a pub quiz, ceilidh or listen to some of the local craic. All whilst enjoying a pint of local beer, or even Arran Milk – or perhaps a dram or two of gin or whisky.
