Estate Agents

Laundry

The Old Post Office at Brodick caters for all your laundry needs! The Old Post Office offers great service and also a collection and drop off service if you can't make it through to Brodick on any given week. Pick up and drop off times are listed on their Facebook page: Tuesday - Blackwaterfoot/Shiskine/Machrie/Pirnmill; Wednesday - Lamlash/Whiting Bay; Thursday - Kildonan/Kilmory; Friday - Corrie/Sannox/Lochranza/Catacol

Left Luggage

The Old Post Office also manages Left Luggage. Want to enjoy the last (or first) day of your holiday before heading to (or after getting off) the boat? But can't because "somebody" needed to bring their golf clubs or vanity case ... Well last, or first, day saved..., because now you can come and drop them off until you are ready to leave or indeed start your adventures.

Car Hire

Arran Rent-a-Car – situated at Brodick pier, so handy for pick-up and drop-off. Best to always book in advance

Vet

Arran Vets is a very mixed veterinary practice, committed to providing a caring, personal and up to date veterinary service for all creatures great and small on the Isle of Arran. With a surgery in the centre of Brodick Arran Vets are as central as is possible for the whole island and close to the ferry terminal.

Haulage

Arran Haulage Services offers a first-class haulage service to and from Arran. We are also the largest suppliers of building materials, coal and animal feed on the Island as well as the main distributor of Calor Gas.

There are seven primary schools around Arran, in Brodick, Lamlash, Whiting Bay, Kilmory, Shiskine, Pirnmill and Corrie. All feed in to one secondary school in Lamlash (Arran High). There’s also an Argyll College in the same campus as the high school, and this is part of the University of the Highlands & Islands, so islanders can study to degree level without ever leaving Arran!
