Quirky Island Fact

#15 - Arran has three castles...
Everyone knows about Brodick Castle, and most people will have visited Lochranza Castle. But did you know about Kildonan Castle, which was once inhabited by the MacDonalds, Lords of the Isles. You can’t visit the castle itself as it’s in a dangerous state, but you can see it clearly from Silver Sands or from the roadside.
