The newly completed Oakbank Lodge must have one of the best views on Arran. Due to its elevated position it boasts breathtaking panoramic views over Lamlash Bay and of the Holy Isle. The outside decking that leads from the double doors in the living room is the perfect spot to take in some of Arran’s stunning views. There is also a secluded south facing private garden with sun terrace. Outdoor furniture is provided for guests to relax in the sun or dine with a view. The chalet is finished to a high spec with oak furniture in keeping with the overall style and design. It has open planned living space and lots of windows bringing in plenty of natural light. For those looking for stunning Arran views and accommodation that is outwith the norm of a standard cottage then Oakbank Lodge is the place for you.

#20 - Arran has Scotland's First No Take Zone
The Community of Arran Seabed Trust (COAST) is a local charity and was established in 1995 by local divers, Howard Wood and Don McNeish, who had noticed the depletion of species on the seabed. The No Take Zone at the north end of Lamlash, was eventually created, after much campaigning, in 2008, and COAST were instrumental in then establishing the Marine Protected Area (MPA) which covers the coast around the south of Arran.
