Shiskine Golf & Tennis Club
Shore Road Blackwaterfoot Isle of Arran KA27 8HA
Shiskine is a great place to spend some time. The course itself has 12 holes and is a seaside links course with wonderful views. Always in great condition, the greens staff take great pride in the course and work very hard to maintain it to a very high standard. We were founded in 1896 and have many “blind” holes with names such as the “Crows Nest” and the “Himalayas”. Shiskine is well known as frequently being in the 'top 100' course lists!

#20 - Arran has Scotland's First No Take Zone
The Community of Arran Seabed Trust (COAST) is a local charity and was established in 1995 by local divers, Howard Wood and Don McNeish, who had noticed the depletion of species on the seabed. The No Take Zone at the north end of Lamlash, was eventually created, after much campaigning, in 2008, and COAST were instrumental in then establishing the Marine Protected Area (MPA) which covers the coast around the south of Arran.
